It was just yesterday when we said good-bye to two of our favorites recipes, Chocolate Almond Scones and the Honey Carrot Pineapple Muffins. Well, even though they will be missed, we are happy to announce the return of Coconut Scones!
These scones have a copious amount of large organic coconut flakes. They are mixed in the dough with coconut extract. Then the scones are rolled in coconut flakes before they are baked, and the exposed flakes get lightly toasted. We then drizzle a vanilla-coconut icing over the top. Coconut times three: inside, outside and in the glazing. They are perfectly decadent!
