Early Sunday morning a fire caused damage to the utility service and back exterior of the building our bakery shares with other businesses (Jamba Juice and The Cheese Shop). Without electricity we cannot provide our baked daily breads. Therefore, until power is restored, our St. Paul bakery location will be temporarily closed. The repairs will likely take more than a few days.
Thankfully, no one was hurt and the damage was not structural and mostly contained to the building's exterior. We will update you as soon as we have more details.
In the meantime, our two other bakeries will be able to provide the full range of bakery items. They are located in Edina and Minnetonka.
Closer to the St. Paul side is the Fresh Thyme Grocery Store in the Prospect Park neighborhood on University Avenue (just past KSTP's studios). Fresh Thyme carries a nice range of our daily breads. Please check them out at 24 30th Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414.
